Visitors to the Project

The Project has hosted a number of long-term visitors who have been involved in the project, including

1. Dr. Linda Hill for two two-month periods in 1996, before she became a full-time member of the Project in November 1996 (see below).
2. Dr. Kate Beard, from the University of Maine at Orono, who spent three weeks in early 1997 working on interface and metadata issues.
3. Dr. Douglas Ramsay, an Associate Professor of Geography at Utah State University is spending a sabbatical year working with the project from July 1996 to June 1997. Dr. Ramsay is acting as coordinator between the Project and the Mojave Desert Cooperative (see below).
