At University of Colorado, Suzanne Larsen organized an afternoon workshop of thirty librarians working on the Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs campus libraries. Suzanne presented an overview of implications for digital library technology for library sciences, and Barbara Buttenfield and Andrew Smith presented a live Internet demonstration of ADL.
At the Geological Society of America meetings in Denver in November, Suzanne Larsen organized a booth where live demonstrations of ADL were shown throughout the week. Mike Rock, Andrew Smith and Ming Tsou ran the demonstrations, and recruited about forty individuals to become beta testers.
