10 EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
We have ongoing series of internal seminars, workshops, and
classes. In each academic quarter, as well as during the summer
months, members of the project have led research seminars focused
on DL issues in the Department of Computer Science. Topics for
such colloquia included, for example, information gathering and
dissemination over the WWW. Regular seminars, with invited speakers
in the area of digital libraries, are held approximately every
month. A series of distinguished speakers have given presentations
at these seminars. During the coming year, we plan to expand our
seminar series with a sequence of presentations from distinguished
scholars in the field of library and information sciences.
