Maya area archeological sites in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize  

Maya Forest Collection
This is a digital satellite image of the Maya Forest region of Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize. The digital image has been visually enhanced to facilitate differentiation between land covers. The images have been resampled to a resolution of 200 meters. It is intended for use as background imagery for vector data layers. For more information on the project, see UCSB Maya Forest GIS.

This is a color slide of the capture of a shark on the Horizon. The collection consists of data, documents and images from 822 expeditions by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, which are becoming web-accessible as a part of the overall NSF-funded National Science Digital Library (NSDL).
